EMERALD is a 50.40 m Feadship motor yacht delivered in 1990, combining Dutch pedigree with the benefits of a 2023 rebuild at Balk Shipyard. Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure retain the character of De Voogt Naval Architects' exterior design, while modifications by Mulder Design and Design Unlimited complement her renewed profile and extended 50.4-metre length. Inside, Design Unlimited created a new contemporary interior following a full strip-out and layout reconfiguration. The main deck places a forward-facing master suite beside a VIP suite, while four guest suites on the lower deck complete accommodation for 12 guests. Large windows brighten the opened-up main saloon, where separate lounge and dining areas create a spacious setting for family cruising. Exterior living is considered, with extended bridge and sun decks, a forward spa bath, seating, sunbeds and wet bar. Quantum extending fin stabilisers operate underway and at anchor, while navigation, audiovisual, IT and satellite communications systems support long-range cruising. With 6,200 nm of range at 11 knots, EMERALD offers transatlantic capability, class renewal with commercial compliance, and a motor yacht experience for world cruising.
