She comfortably accommodates 12 guests in six luxurious and spacious staterooms and boasts a variety of exterior dining and lounging areas, including a unique terrace with shade awnings on the foredeck. Other features that make her stand out include an air-conditioned gym, a large circular wet bar and a master suite on the bridge deck.   • SYCARA V has a very flexible interior which can accommodate up to 20 guests in 8 cabins, including two staff cabins with single bed and pullman..  All accommodations are fitted out with satin finished burled wood, rich walnut, attractive gloss paint and highly polished stainless steel accents. Noise and vibration treatments produce very low noise levels throughout the accommodation and living spaces. Each accommodation is highlighted with a generous amount of onyx or marble

With a recent paint job, and virtually everything refitted to new standards, SYCARA V is ready for a new owner.

Awarded the prestigious 2011 World Superyacht Award for Best Displacement Motor Yacht in the 60m-84m

range, SYCARA V was created by her experienced Owner, along with renowned Australian designer Craig

Beale, by the German based Nobiskrug shipyard.

Her sleek exterior is marked by clean lines, and generous deck spaces, while her interior can accommodate up

to 20 guests in 8 staterooms, making her the ideal yacht for entertaining or chartering. A convenient interior

elevator ushers guests from the accommodation deck up to the sun deck, and she also features unique

amenities such as an extensive gym, massage room, and a private aft deck off the Owner’s suite.

Her interior is enveloped in neutral tones with highlights of blue, and has several socializing areas such as her

exterior upper aft deck and delightful forward lounging deck.



Primary works carried out during yard period at La Ciotat in France:

· Major overhaul of two of the three CAT C-9 generators with all new parts (not remanufactured).

Purchased another 5 years of CAT warranty coverage on the two rebuilt generators.

· Lloyd’s Register 5-year tail shaft survey. In addition to inspecting the props and shafts, replaced

the inner stern tubes with upgraded duplex steel units and all the shaft bearing mountings and

bearings were new.

· Completely overhauled the Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers and both hydraulic power packs. Also

added an automatic centering system to the stabilizer fins.

· Anti-fouling bottom paint renewed and the hull and cathodic protection anodes replaced.

· All sea chest valves replaced.

· All overboard valves inspected and rebuilt or replaced.

· The water maker was overhauled.

· Installed a fully IMO compliant dual Transas ECDIS with new monitors for “Paperless Bridge”


· In addition, performed other maintenance projects such as various tank cleanings and repairs,

bridge electronics upgrades, bow thruster service, elevator overhaul and wave runner crane rebuild.


Primary works carried out during yard period at Rybovich Shipyard in Palm Beach, FL:

· Nearly a complete paint job, including re-fairing of the hull by Luu Marine.

· Replaced the DG 1 CAT 9 with a 150 kW Northern Lights genset and integrated it into the

Power Management System

· Lloyd’s supervised and approved Incline Test and analysis of ballast requirements leading to

revision of Stability Books and the issuance of a Lloyd’s Certificate of the Non-Applicability of

the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention.

· Completely rebuilt the passerelle, side boarding Ladder and retractable foremast

· Rebuilt all of the mechanical components of the weather / water tight Freeman doors and hatches

· Replaced the original VSAT antenna with a new Sailor unit

· Rebuilt the Sea-Tel TVRO antenna

· Rebuilt / replaced various components of both radars and gyro-compass

· Upgraded the Sun Deck sliding doors

· Refit of the HVAC / Refrigeration system including:

o Replacement of sea water cooling condensers

o Replacement of all central air handler units’ blower assemblies

o Installation of VFDs on the central AHUs blowers and sea water cooling pumps.

o Complete overhaul of all 6 chiller plant compressors

o Installation of VAVs and programmable thermostats in the Master, 4 Guest Suites and

the Captain’s Cabin.

o Complete cleaning and sterilization of all AHUs and entire yacht’s ductwork.


Primary works carried out during yard period at La Ciotat in France:

· Antifouling bottom paint renewed and the hull and cathodic protection anodes replaced.

· Sea chest and overboard valves inspected and rebuilt or replaced.

· Atlas UPS systems serviced.

· Propeller shaft bearings and seals inspected.

· Propellers inspected and serviced by Piening (OEM)

· Water tanks cleaned, inspected and serviced.

· Fuel tanks cleaned, inspected and serviced.

· Replaced both anchor chains and fittings.

· Replaced MKN Combi Ovens, Induction Ranges and Wok.

· Replaced transom rub rails.

· Dry Dock Hull Survey performed by Patton Marine.
